Project Overview

Grosvenor in conjunction with Westminster City Council is proposing streetscape improvements along Brown Hart Gardens, Balderton Street and Providence Court Street in order to enhance the pedestrian environment and the grandeur of this distinctive location.
   
The highway improvements include the following:

• Repaving of footways using natural stone materials;
• Modifications to the layout of the street with increased footway widths and recessed street parking areas;
• Use of granite setts as surfacing in a raised section of carriageway at the junction of Balderton Street and Brown Hart Gardens;
• Resurfacing the carriageway with asphaltic materials;
• Upgrading street lighting;
• Enhancement of private forecourts.
