Project Overview

Westminster City Council is proposing footway and carriageway improvements along Glasshouse Street, and the junction with Brewer Street and Warwick Street.

The improvements include the following:

• Construction of a raised carriageway table junction, and introduction of a cycle contraflow lane;
• Repaving and widening of footway in Yorkstone paving; 
• Reinstatement of road markings;
• Asphalt resurfacing and reinstatement of granite setts on the carriageway;
• Upgrades of street lighting and drainage;
• Installation and relocation of street furniture and traffic signs;
• Alterations and diversions of existing utilities; and
• Construction of raised loading and parking bays
