Project Overview

The Strutton Ground market area was identified as a location that would benefit from improvements to the public realm including the carriageway and the infrastructure on street to support the stall holders. The footway paving and granite cobbles were uneven, broken and are showing signs of failure. The scheme implemented provided a complete refresh of the carriageway and footway and was undertaken in collaboration with traders to keep the market open.
