Project Overview

These improvement works include:

• Kerb Buildouts to improve pedestrian safety;
• Relocated pedestrian crossings to improve crossing facilities
• Raised table across mouths of Blandford Street and George Street to encourage lower vehicle speeds

To accommodate these works a variety of lane and road closures will be required with diversion routes marked on street. The majority of works are planned to be day works
but night works will be required for antiskid and possible other elements of the scheme.
