Project Overview

As part of the sustainable transport initiative, the City Council has made  improvements to the Local Bus Priority Network (LBPN) in southern Regent Street.

Improvements are proposed for the bus stops in southern Regent Street between Charles II Street and Jermyn Street.

Proposals to improve the LBPN include:

• Extending the length of bus clearway to improve bus accessibility.
• Modifying waiting restrictions to improve accessibility for the “Original Tour” bus stop.

The proposed improvements will allow all bus services for the area better accessibility to the bus stops. It will also reduce bus dwell times and improve service reliability.
