Project Overview
Works undertaken at Clifton Road included:
- Replacement of the block paving at the eastern end of Clifton Road between its junction with Lanark Road and Maida Vale with an asphalt carriageway, and reconstruction of the failed pedestrian crossing within Clifton Road.
- Relocation of the northern traffic island within the junction of Clifton Road and Maida Vale. These works will be undertaken for resilience purposes, to allow buses to use the left turn in rare circumstances when buses need to be diverted.
