Project Overview

Local Safety Scheme on Harrow Road & Sutherland Avenue, with an aim to reduce the Personal Injury Accidents (PICs) at identified area. Remedial measures proposed to improve safety for vulnerable road users are;

• Carriageway is to be reconstructed and a raised table provided to upgrade the existing Zebra Crossing on Sutherland Avenue;
• Street furniture removal and relocation to declutter footways;
• Yellow Box extension and waiting / loading restriction changes;
• Carriageway resurfacing and road marking refreshing.
• Street lighting upgrades.
