Project Overview

FM Conway, on behalf of Westminster City Council, will be carrying out highway improvement works in North Wharf Road and Harrow Road as part of the redevelopment of North Wharf Gardens Site II.

Works will be implemented in three (3) phases:
 
Phase 1: Completed
 
Phase 2: Completed
 

• September-October 2021; footway works adjacent to the development on Harrow Road and North Wharf Road.
• Extension of central island on Harrow Road.

Improvements include the following:

• New kerbing and kerb alignments around the extents of the development;
• Wider public footways;
• New paving around the extents of the development in Artificial Stone Paving (ASP);
• New vehicles crossovers on Harrow Road and North Wharf Road;
• Extension of Harrow Road central island;
• Upgraded gully works;
• Upgraded street lighting works;
• Resurfacing works; and
• Changes to parking and kerbside activity.
