Project Overview

Westminster City Council has commissioned FM Conway Ltd, the City Council’s service provider to carry out public realm improvements at Sherwood Street, Glasshouse Street, Denman Street and Shaftesbury Avenue. The works will include the following:

• Renewal of the surfacing of the footways surrounding the new Lucent Development with new yorkstone paving,
• Improvements to the existing public lighting, and
• Resurfacing of the carriageway on Denman Street and Shaftesbury Avenue

Outline Programme

The footway improvement works are planned to commence from 19th June 2023 and last for approximately 12-13 weeks, weather permitting. Works will take place Monday to Friday, between 08:00 & 18:00hrs and on Saturdays between 08:00 & 13:00hrs.
