Project Overview

A scheme to improve the public realm in Sackville Street & Vigo Street streets, including:

• upgrading the footway materials in natural stone
• special granite paving at northern and southern junctions
• step-free pedestrian crossings
• footway widening
• 6 new street trees
• reallocation of parking and loading
• contra-flow cycling

Works on site from 31st July 2023

Two main phases of work:
Phase 1 to complete by November 2023, including Vigo Street and northern half of Sackville Street.
Phase 2 will follow on from the completion of Pegasus House development at the southern end of Sackville Street and is planned for 2025
